NAIDŽ is the international trade association for companies providing information destruction services. Suppliers of products, equipment and services to destruction companies are also eligible for membership. NAID's mission is to promote the information destruction industry and the standards and ethics of its member companies. The NAID Certification Program establishes standards for a secure destruction process including such areas as operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance.

All of the documents that ShredWerks destroys are recycled through Olmsted County Recycling. Through an agreement with SEMREX, you are assured that a continuous chain of custody is maintained from the time we take custody from you until the material is turned into recycled paper products by one of the nearby papermills.
PossAbilites of Southern Minnesota is a non-profit organization which helps to employ individuals with disabilties. ShredWerks has a contractual agreement with PossAbilites to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into our operation whenever it is safe and possible. In addition, we contribute a portion of our profits directly to their foundation annually through direct contributions and program sponsorships.
